What makes products from The Robust Olive different?

The Robust Olive sources our Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar through Veronica Foods and Delizia which produces the best and highest quality products you can purchase anywhere in the world. The production is scrutinized from start to finish. For example, the olives are grown only to perfect ripeness. They are never over grown for a higher yeild. Veronica Foods guarantees that the olives are hand picked and go straight to press within 4 hours of removal from trees. This decreases oxidation of the olive to preserve the very best quality oil without any potential for degradation.

The Balsamic Vinegars come from Modena, Italy where balsamic vinegar is exclusively made because of the region of Trebbiano grapes they are made from. Our White Balsamic Vinegars are barrel aged for 12 years. The Dark Balsamic Vinegars are barrel aged for 18 years. We also have a special 30 year aged Balsamic Vinegar, Denissimo, that is 2.5 x the thickness of our Traditional Dark Balsamic Vinegar. The extra thickness naturally occurs from the additional barrel aging and natural reduction that happens with the addition of time and patience.
Where are The Robust Olives olive oils and balsamic vinegars from?

The olive oils come from Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The Northern Hemisphere harvest is in the fall from October - December and the Southern Hemisphere harvest in March - May of each year. That is why we can guarantee freshness as we get our inventory within weeks of each harvest! Although, we get our oils from all over the world (from Spain, Italy, Greece, California, Chile and Australia) our inventory is the freshest product you can purchase locally for your cooking. And because we know when our oils are harvested, we can guarantee their fresh taste for up to 3 years.
Our Balsamic Vinegars come from Modena, Italy and are naturally infused. They are free of caramel color, added sugar, and thickeners. Aged in wood barrels in the traditional Solera System made famous in Modena, Italy.
The sweet flavor comes from natural sugars (fructose) in the Trebbiano grapes.
How can I use these products in my kitchen?

Our high quality olive oil should replace any unhealthy fats in your kitchen because the high polyphenol antioxidants boost heart health and should be used to replace in any recipe where you have butter, margarine, animal fat, vegetable fat, etc…
EVOOs are the most stable cooking oil and can be used for sautéing, frying, baking, grilling and marinating and was shown to keep its nutritional value when heated up to 356 degrees.
These products are wonderful paired together as salad dressings, bread dipping (instant appetizer), drizzling on finished food, enhancing ice cream and other desserts, making creative cocktails and mocktails (add to your sparking water for a healthy homemade soda) and conditioning cast iron skillets. You can use our olive oils as a skin elixir, lip balm, wrinkle reducer, moisturizer and even conditioning your hair.
